Welcome to the Swedish Singers of Seattle, a combined choir composed of the Swedish Women's Chorus (founded in 1952) and the Svea Male Chorus (founded in 1906). As part of the American Union of Swedish Singers, our mission is to keep the tradition of Swedish music vibrant in Seattle. Our repertoire includes contemporary Swedish choral music; traditional and folk songs; sacred and secular music, and even some pop music! We perform at the Swedish Club and a variety of other venues around Seattle. You don't have to be Swedish or speak Swedish to become a member of our group; just have an interest in Swedish musical culture!
